CR10 V2 Dual Wheel Filament Guide W/Wo Bearing
thingiverse
I was searching for a CR 10 V2 Filament Guide. And I stumbled upon Bluefare's Design, but I liked it better for two wheels so that it could guide the filament from below or above. I took some inspiration from Iron-Hide's CR10S PRO Filament Guide and reworked their design into my own. This one is intended specifically for CR 10 V2 printers only, as that's all I have experience with. When printing with this guide, aim for: 80% Infill for the strongest results Support on the frame and wheel for added stability Print the nut upwards so it requires no support material No raft or other support is needed Works well with PLA. To assemble the guide, you'll need: One frame piece Two roller pieces Two nuts Two 608 bearings Just press-fit the bearing onto the roller by hand and you're ready to go. Change Log: Version 1: Go for Version 1 (has V1 name on the file) for guaranteed results. Version 2: Redesigned the frame to minimize material usage while increasing rigidity Added several support points to the frame Tightened up the roller holder to reduce wobbling Shortened the nut design Introduced a new type of roller that doesn't require bearings (haven't tested it yet) A little motivation can go a long way in designing more and more amazing things!
