This design enables mounting the CR10 filament spool on top of the printer, thereby freeing up space for other uses. Photos showcase my CR10 S5, functioning flawlessly. This specific design is tailored to the CR10 (S) model which features a built-in filament sensor. To create this setup, print two parts: a down feeder bracket and a modified filament sensor cover. Additionally, acquire a Bowden tube and fittings as well as some T-Nuts. The standard spool holder provided with the CR10 is attached to the printer frame using T-Nuts. You may need to enlarge the holes slightly for the M5 T-Nuts.
