CR10/S Standalone Mod - Stock/Ender3 LCD Display
thingiverse
For those of you who are thinking of doing the Cornerly_Cool CR10 Standalone mod but don't want/have a MKS TFT32 touch display, I present this remixed/redesigned display box for either the stock CR10/S or Ender3 LCD. I started from scratch with the design but the box will still bolt on the same as the original one. There are 2 versions for the face plate: one that works with the stock CR10 display as well as the non-double stacked PCB version that's used for the Ender3. The reason I converted my printer to use the Ender3 display is you only need 1 set of ribbon cable (connector labeled EXP3) to run to the main board instead of 2 like the stock CR10/S (EXP1 & EXP2). So you'll need to print the body and the faceplate that compliments the LCD you have. If you have a double-stacked PCB, go with the stock CR10 face plate. If you have a single PCB version, go with the Ender3 faceplate. You will also need: 4 - M3x8 screws to attach faceplate to body 4 - M3 T-nuts and screws (I forget the length, sorry) to attach to body to extruded aluminum frame Prints fine without rafts or supports!
