A CR-10S Case mod to allow for 30mm Extrusion (3030) customization flexibility is created by modifying the case to accommodate additional components. My CR-10S only had two screws in the Meanwell PSU, which were M4X6. I replaced them with M4x8 as the strap requires a thicker attachment point of 2mm. I printed two case mod parts and attached them lightly until I slid on the printed 30mm extrusion and then tightened down. This modification allows cable clips, Raspberry Pi, or other components to be easily adapted to slide onto the modified case. The case mod was printed with black PTEG for added strength, but PLA/ABS should also work well in this application. To complete the case mod, print two straps and an extrusion of 230-250mm length, depending on your desired level of customization.
