I despise the original CR10 spool holder. Excessive friction causes a full spool to outweigh the base, resulting in unnecessary stress. When mounted on the frame, it introduces unwelcome vibrations into the printer. To solve this problem, I designed a simple spoolholder. First, place a bearing (608ZZ: 8mm x 22mm x 7mm) inside and slide it into position. If desired, glue two pieces together for added stability. Next, snap in magnets (12mm x 2mm) to the base and you're done. The original magnets are actually 12mm x 1.8mm, but this is not a significant issue. Printing is effortless and requires no support, making it perfect for my needs.
