CR10 / Ender 3 Spool Holder

This part is a minimalist one-part filament spool holder that has replaced my standard Ender 3 spool bracket. After witnessing numerous over-engineered spool holders, I came up with this simple design consisting of just one part. It can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. The holder will work on any 3D printer featuring a frame capable of accepting M3 or M4 bolts, typically those with a 20x40 6mm slot or 20x20mm 6mm slot. This design is specifically engineered for the use of 8mm long bolts equipped with T nuts. By using this holder, it's possible to minimize the overall height of the printer, allowing it to sit on a bookshelf or anywhere else where reduced headroom is essential. It accommodates spools up to 85mm in width, which commonly refers to 1kg spools. To ensure optimal performance, print with at least 20% infill for added strength and a minimum of 1mm wall thickness, although thinner walls will still work fine with lighter mass spools.
