Here's a quick remix to use cheaper LED lights like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Qooltek-Portable-Reading-Strips-Eye-care/dp/B00XC2XCNU/ref=pd_day0_hl_86_3/140-5346703-9783435. There are some affordable options available for lights of this size, and I had a few different brands lying around that all fit perfectly. To make it work, you'll need to remove the plastic tip on the non-wired side and then slip it through with ease. I remixed two types with different angles, thanks to SCteacher for coming up with the original idea.
