16-05-2020 Update! I've created a version 2 of this Squash ball damper, which I highly recommend using on heavier printers like the Cr10s-pro, Cr-x, Ender 5, or Tevo Tornado. For ender3 and ender3-pro printers or similar models that aren't too heavy, you're good to go with this version. I designed this Squash Ball damper by looking at what was already available on Thingiverse. Every damper I found was a bit too high for my taste - if it had to be mounted under the printer. So, I decided to create my own version. This Squash Ball damper has the absolute lowest height I can make it without compromising its functionality, so the m4 bolt still has enough material to be tightened onto the printer's frame or chassis. As you can see, this design fits Creality's Cr10, Cr10s series, and the Cr-X, and should also work with the Ender Series and Tevo Tornado. There are clones of the Creality Cr10 that may fit as well, but I'm not entirely sure about it. Mounting the Squash Ball Foot: For the Cr10 or Cr10s, you'll need to replace the original m4 x 12mm button head with an m4 x 6mm button head and use one of the small washers from the original rubber foot for the new Squash Ball Foot. This doesn't apply to the Cr-X and Cr10-Pro, as they can simply reuse their m4 bolt and small washer. From online forums, I've found that using two yellow dots is the best option when mounting Squash Balls, and they seem to be the right choice. They provide an optimal level of "spongyness" for this purpose - not too much or too little.
