This adapter was inspired by the ingenious idea of CallJoe: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2524206, using a Low Cost Automotive Caliper Buck.\r\nI built upon his concept to create an adapter that clamps the caliper onto the fan-case of the Creality CR10. You can use it to levelize the 4 corner-points of the heating-bed and compare/adjust the measured "zero" to the middle level, which is usually used. If the middle doesn't match, cover the "holes" with painters masking tape (about 0.1mm thick), so that all 5 levels become approximately equal.\r\nTip for leveling the bed: Disable the "G28" homing command in the generated gcode by adding a semicolon ;G28 and replace it with manual "Autohoming" on the printer before starting, then disable the stepper-drivers to manually correct the levels with the 4 leveling-nuts on the print-bed's corners. After that, put the bed back to the home-position and proceed with the print – but remember to remove the Caliper+Adapter first, as it obstructs the front-cooling-fan of the extruder!\r\nUpgrade: The Version-2 has an air-gap between the holder and the case, allowing a gap for the air sucked into the cooling-fan. Attention: It's essential to slice this thing with PLA-Support!\r\nSo, enjoy your CR10!
