CR10 Brace Arm Adapters
thingiverse
I'm currently working on a Work in Progress project to create an adapter for my cr10 Mini's braces. I uploaded the STL file to Thingiverse, as they required me to publish something to share with others about this ongoing development. This adapter is designed specifically for users who don't have access to a lathe or can't thread into the aluminum rod. An alternative option could be using a 13mm dowel rod if available. The purpose of this adapter is to allow you to drop either a 1/4 - 28 nut or a 6mm nut down inside it, then thread your spherical rod end onto it to pull the nut up against its seating position. On the other end, the 13mm rod goes in just enough for you to cross-drill a 3mm hole and attach with a 3mm x 20 pan head screw/bolt and nut. This keeps the adapter from spinning on the rod. After I test-print this design, I'll create a spacer that you can drop in, which will sandwich the nut and the 13mm rod together. Then, you can mark where your hole for the rod goes.
With this file you will be able to print CR10 Brace Arm Adapters with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on CR10 Brace Arm Adapters.
