CR10 120mm Fan mod for Control Box
thingiverse
If you're not in the mood to swap out all three Control Box fans, you can simply use a single 120mm exhaust fan, which has more than enough airflow and will cost significantly less. You'll want to connect the fan to one of the 12v connectors on the motherboard, rather than the PSU, which only turns the fan on when it's hot. I've also removed the cover from the PSU for improved airflow. If you choose not to remove the PSU cover, make sure to leave the stock PSU fan turned on - there simply isn't enough ventilation in the PSU casing. Here's a catch: you'll need some legs to support the setup, and I'm using Shift31's, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2413227. The print settings are 2.2mm thick, which is more than strong enough with PLA. You also have the option to print in two halves, and the screws from the fan will keep the pieces together - just make sure to use a washer for the middle screw (as shown). To power the fan, refer to this diagram: https://i.imgur.com/LJRhcaF.png
