This is a custom part designed specifically for the CR-8 to secure the laser module. Many DIYers have modified the nozzle's cooling fan cover, but this left no metal casing for the laser module to attach to, so they had to create their own fixing plate to help stabilize it. Please supply M3 screws yourself. Because the first version will eventually warp and bend with use, the second version added two supports to keep the laser module steady.
