CR-8 OpenBuilds Solid V Wheel Washer We've found that the X, Y axis wheels sometimes don't turn smoothly or tightly. This causes the stepper motor to require more current, leading to increased motor temperature and even loss of step. It also wastes more electricity in the process. At least two reasons cause this phenomenon. Firstly, components pressed against the wheel rub against both the wheel's central axis and its movable outer part. This increases the difficulty of turning the wheel. Secondly, excessive pressure on the wheel causes increased friction between the steel balls inside it. Currently, we can only adjust the screws that hold the wheel in place to address this issue. This component is designed to solve the first problem by raising the wheel's central axis, thus preventing interference between the axis and the outer movable part due to components pressed against the wheel. We recommend using 100% fill density.
