CR-6 SE part fan external support
thingiverse
Version 2 The purpose was to change the cheap stock part fan as mine was making more and more noise and leaking bearings oil. I remixed and finalized a beta version from Bubux and finalized it, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4631372 it works great. I fitted a nice Sunon 40x40x20mm fan and adjust its speed to 95% in the slicer so I can hardly ear it. The 2 parts are easy to print, I used Esun pla+ witch is my favorite filament. both parts require support, on the bed for the fan support and every where for the air duct. The fitting doesn't require any modification of the stock hot-end hood. Fist, re-drill the screw holes of the fan support to 2.5mm Fit the fan support from inside with two 3x5mm screws Fit the air exhaust part with the stock air-duct (or a custom one)
