CR-6 SE Motherboard and PSU Cover Set for 80mm Fan

This is a set of replacement covers for the Creality CR-6 SE that allow that use of 80x80x25mm (8025) fans for the motherboard and power supply. They use stock hardware (optional use of 2 M3x6mm screws to secure a 'buck converter' but not essential). The fan header on the power supply outputs 12v which gives you a lot of options to choose from. The motherboard fan header outputs 24v which reduces your options. You can however use a 'buck converter' to change the motherboard output to 12v so that you can use the same fan on both. I've chosen the Noctua NF-A8 ULN fans as they're among the quietest fans that Noctua make (10.4 dB/A at 1400rpm) and still provide more airflow than the stock fans. I can't recommend these fans enough if you want to reduce fan noise. Otherwise any 8025 fan will do. The set includes: 1) A replacement cover for the motherboard to fit an 8025 fan. This cover uses the screws that come with the printer. I've also included a mounting point for a standard LM2596 (buck) converter. This can be attached by simply clipping in place or using a pair of M3x6mm screws (as pictured) There is also a cable clip at either side of the fan mounting point to hold excess cable. 2) A replacement cover for the power supply to fit an 8025 fan. This cover uses the screws that come with the power supply. I've included a cable clip at either side of the fan mounting point to hold excess cable. 3) A pair of additional covers to fill the empty space left when removing the stock power supply cover. These use the screws that come with the printer. IMPORTANT - you will need taller feet on your printer to fit these covers. The motherboard cover adds 12mm to the underside and the power supply cover adds around 19mm. I'd suggest feet that are 25mm or taller. Something like these by eric1992 should work well: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4728371 I printed my final prints in PETG but also tested in PLA and these work fine. Additional info - I didn't want to cut the existing 3 pin connectors off the fans in case I wanted to use them elsewhere in future, so as the NF-A8 ULN comes with a 3-pin to molex adapter I simply cut the molex end off and replaced this with a 2-pin JST-XH connector. Now I can simply unplug the adapter and the fan still has the original 3-pin connector (see pictures).
