CR 123A Cell Battery Box with Snap Lid for Arlo cameras
thingiverse
This is a remix of sleemanj's excellent AA Cell Battery Box with Snap Lid. I resized it to fit 4x CR 123A batteries for my Arlo camera, which I needed to secure in a safe location like the front door. To make the enclosure, I simply printed it out and installed the camera inside. However, when the batteries need changing, I realized that accessing them from outside the enclosure would be difficult. That's why I used ReginalBull's Netgear Arlo CR123a Battery Adapter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2820699) to wire it to my remixed battery box. This way, the camera stays fixed inside while the batteries are easily accessible from outside. Some might argue that stealing the batteries would be a problem instead of the cameras. But I'd rather lose some batteries than risk losing a $400 camera, which could happen if thieves get too close and take a picture with my Arlo camera. The only part I redesigned was the catch, making it easier to open by lengthening the flicky bit so that it stands proud of the case. If you need battery contacts, search online for "battery spring plate" and you'll find them.
