CR-10S5 Y-Axis Drag Chain Mount
thingiverse
I designed simple mounts for a Y-Axis Drag chain on my Cr-10S500. I used this $16 drag chain: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Drag-Chain-Cable-Carrier-Open-Type-with-End-Connectors-R28-15X15mm-1-Meter-Plastic-for-Electrical-CNC-Router-Machine/947227151 UPDATE: I found that my original bracket drooped after about a year. So, I redesigned the bracket to attach securely onto a 13x16mm U-shaped aluminum trim channel for 1/2 inch plywood from Lowes. I drilled holes in the carriage beneath the bed and mounted it with locknuts to the bottom. The new version is totally rigid and will last the life of my printer. If you have access to the aluminum channel, all you need are the FrameBracket and the ChainBracket files. If not (or if you're looking for a quick fix), then download the original ChainBracket file.
