CR-10S5 Quick bed/gantry leveling jig
thingiverse
I've become frustrated with ruined prints caused by bed and gantry drift. In time, we'll share our findings on how to overcome this problem, which seems to be a common issue with the CR10-S5 model. I discovered that between prints, my gantry could fluctuate by as much as 4mm in either direction, making it impossible to level the bed through the interface. By placing these blocks under the gantry on both sides and ensuring both sides rest on them, you'll eliminate this issue temporarily. Ultimately, installing a belt between the two Z-motors will resolve the problem for good. These blocks will also be useful in setting up that belt correctly. Furthermore, I've added some adjustable wings to quickly check if your bed is level. In the future, we'll add a clip on the back side to hold these wings in place and enable measurements to facilitate leveling.
