CR-10S5 AIO conversion with 3DFused Linear Rail Kits

After owning the S5 for a few years, I eventually grew tired of the cable mess and the unnecessarily large footprint of the control box etc. Having built custom desktop PCs for most of my adult life, I decided to bring some of those skills to fix this issue. My main objective going into this project was to design a fully printed enclosed case that was easy to access for maintenance if and when it was required. The airflow would follow the traditional high-end gaming towers of air from front-to-back, maintaining a cool environment for all of the electronics to work in. I designed this mod which allows you to remove the control box and mount all parts to the underside of the printer. It was planned around the basis of upgrading all of the X,Y,Z to 3DFused Linear Rail kits, so some parts of the printer were reused as part of the mod. Most of the design can be used without changing to the linear rails, but you may have to buy extra 2040 extrusions for example. If you plan to change to linear rails, I suggest you do that first before starting my mod. This is not a beginners mod. Knowledge of your printer's inner workings is a must as rewiring will be needed in order for everything to fit cleanly. Opening the source file in Fusion360 will show you where everything is supposed to go, so I will not put the instructions in this text box here. Like I said, some experience is advised. In addition to the printed files, you will also need to buy display cable extensions: Amazon's B018HMG8LW. Switch power outlet modules: Amazon's B07SHVNLTJ. Drag chains: Amazon's B082B2NKT9. Extra wire: Amazon's B074QR9DT9. And a variety length of M3/M4 bolts, matching T-nuts, and of course the 3DFused rail kits if you plan on going the same route as I did. Screen mount used from tophattwaffle: Thingiverse's 3513661. The X Carriage is a heavily remixed Hydra which fixes some of the heatsink cooling issues and abl mounts: Thingiverse's 4178797. Have the following on hand: Soldering Iron, Solder, Heat shrink, Side Cutters, Wire strippers, Screw Driver Set. For the drag chain setup, be prepared to do some major rewiring. I got lazy and used the extension cables that came with my printer. A little messy inside the case, but still good airflow. Don't be like me. If you're going to do this mod, do it properly lol.
