CR-10S4 Printer Model for Simplify3d
thingiverse
This is a basic cr-10S4 printer model designed specifically for use within Simplify3d to display the printer frame within the viewing window. It's crucial to note that this model is not intended to be 100% accurate and should not be used for creating accessories or parts for the cr-10 printer. To incorporate such a model into your Simplify3d profiles, Jantzen Day provides step-by-step instructions in his YouTube video, available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkudSgv_uTY. He also links to a standard cr-10 model within that video. I created this model by combining Jantzen's standard cr-10 (300x300) .stl with the control box, which serves as a visual reminder of the front of the machine. To simplify the design, I removed all end caps except those integrated into the extrusion. Unfortunately, I realized too late that not all endcaps were separate, and they weren't essential for this application. I extend my gratitude to Jantzen Day and Edwin Van Het Bolscher of the Creality CR-10 3D Printer User Group for providing Jantzen with the original CR-10 model, which we both then adapted for use in Simplify3D.
