First and foremost credit has to go to Wickedfog for a fantastic design that's also incredibly simple. I've taken the design and made some minor modifications to make it even easier to complete this project. Thanks again, Wickedfog. The L brackets have been tweaked (slightly taller with printed threads) from the original design so that common 500mm length carbon fiber tubing (12mm OD -10mm ID) can be used without any issues. The 6mm threads were added over the original design to eliminate the need for threaded inserts on each end of the L brackets, allowing M6 shoulder bolts to tighten snugly without any risk of thread stripping. To assemble this project, use two-part epoxy to glue the inserts into the carbon fiber, making sure that each 500mm carbon fiber tube has a left-handed threaded insert and a right-handed threaded insert glued into each end. This will enable you to turn the carbon fiber to lengthen or shorten the tubing to fit the L brackets mounted on the Printer. From the original design, I'm using (4) L brackets instead of (2), which eliminates tapping and threading the bottom of the CR-10s or CR-10 frame entirely. The brackets are secured using M5 T-Nuts and M5 machine screws.
