CR-10s Top Mount Spool Holder with Bearings and Runout Sensor

UPDATE: Simplified design now features separate components for easier reorientation and selection. Be sure to correctly position the runout sensor directly over your extruder to avoid unnecessary filament path friction. After merging elements of the Filler Customizable Filament Holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3020026) and CR-10 Top Mount Spool Holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2830892), I achieved better results with my direct drive conversion using a modified bracket to relocate the stock stepper motor to the x gantry arm. The original Filler design's non-bearing spool spindle caused friction issues, but the Top Mount Spool Holder's in-line runout sensor placement was a major improvement. However, it lacked bearings, which led me to create a remix that combined the best features of both designs. I added "load magazine here" text to the side for easy reference, inspired by the Filler's design resemblance to a gun foregrip. The screw threads and nut on the front prevent the spool from coming loose due to its orientation. Refer to the original posts for bearing specs and print settings recommendations. This remix aims to provide you with versatile options, including plastic bearings and non-bearing spool holders.
