CR-10s Standalone Printer Base Remixed
thingiverse
I've added a titan extruder, petsfang direct drive mount, and pei sheet. This setup has been working well for me over the past few weeks. I used ABS plastic sheeting and it looks great and is very lightweight. I rearranged the panels so that the connectors and power come out of the back. I also remixed a panel with no holes to fit around the base. To access the internals easily and quickly, I keep the back panels' m4 nuts disconnected on top. Then, I simply remove two m5 screws from the bottom rail and pull the base out. I've included all the stl files I used or remixed below. Here are some notes about them: The melzi and mosfet mounts work with m3 screws between 4mm and 12mm. The pi mount is a snap-on design. The spool holder remix mount works with the stock spindle and can be mounted horizontally for taller prints. The power panel has been updated to use the specified type and requires two m5 screws on either side to mount. You can find the specific product used in the power panel at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ME5YAPK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. If I've missed anything, or if you need any further information or tweaks, please let me know!
