This project has taken me quite a while to finish, and I've had to remix several things as well as draw inspiration from various sources in order to bring it to life. It will take some time for me to remember exactly which elements I used and who I should thank for their influence, so please be patient while I continue to update this project with proper credits and acknowledgments. The build is pretty self-explanatory. The frame and Z support are made from 2020 extrusion, and I've inserted a 1/4 ABS Sheet into the extrusion to keep electronics safe. The 2020 extrusion hinges on the back for quick and easy access to electronics, and I've used 5050 White LED's in aluminum channel attached with Velcro wire management tape. I also used CR10s extension cables, which are required for this build. However, I was shipped the wrong ones initially, so I only had the extensions for the bed and hot end that worked. As you can see from the pics, I routed some of the cables through a panel on the left side of the base. If I had the proper extension cables, I would run them all through the back of the base with the rest of the cables. The parts that build the walls of the base require the following: 60mm_support_Front_corner_mk2.stl - one for each corner 150mm_angle_vent_panel_mk2.stl - two for each side 85mm_center_support_side_panel.stl - one needed for each side back_panel_mk1.stl - this is the only piece you need for the back display_mk5.stl - this is the only piece you need for the front CR-Board-Mount-mk4.stl - this mount will fit both the stock CR10s print controller and the TH3D EZBoard Post any questions or let me know what you think in the comments below.
