This is a simple modification designed specifically for the Creality CR-10S, allowing users to replace the standard feet with specialized holders that securely cradle standard squash balls. The intention behind this innovative design is to utilize the balls' natural cushioning properties to effectively dampen and reduce printer vibrations. Notably, I observed a significant reduction in layer visibility after installing these custom holders on my own printer. The modification cleverly leverages the existing feet holes and screws of the CR-10S, thus eliminating the need for any additional drilling or hole-making operations. This streamlined approach ensures a seamless integration process. While this design has been tailored specifically to meet the needs of the CR-10S model, it's essential to note that I have not tested its compatibility with the standard CR-10 variant. However, if any users could provide me with the necessary dimensions for the CR-10, I would be more than happy to edit and adapt this design to suit their specific requirements.
