CR-10S squash ball feet (low profile)
thingiverse
I was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2761352 and added my own unique twist.\r\n\r\n* Pick your preference between two versions, a sturdy one and a slim one.\r\n\r\nThe design ensures that the squashball clicks into place with minimal effort required. The screw holes are recessed, making the entire construction more stable than before.\r\n\r\nWhen installing, note that the guides need to be carefully fitted into 2020 profiles or you may need to lightly sand them with a file for a snug fit without screws. However, it's essential not to omit the screws entirely. I use yellow-double point squash balls, resulting in a height almost identical to the originals of the CR10S, maybe just 1mm lower. The height variation depends on the squash ball used, especially with harder balls like red dot.\r\n\r\nYou'll need 8x M5x12mm Allen screws, washers, and M5 T-head nuts for assembly.\r\n\r\nIf you want custom drillings or modifications, I've uploaded the Fusion360 file so you can customize it to your liking.
