CR-10S Pro Ribbon Cable tucking bracket, clip, tie, etc
thingiverse
This plate folds the ribbon cable over itself when properly used, allowing you to rest it along the Y axis instead of beside the printer along the X axis. Yes, the ribbon cable is long enough for this setup, as I've tested with the Z axis fully extended. I'm currently creating a clip for the extruder gantry that will keep the cable secure along the Y axis and prevent it from interfering with the print process. FYI, this design can be easily mirrored to mount devices like a raspberry pi or camera on the opposite side of the machine. If you use this idea, please let me know and provide a link so I can see your implementation.
