CR-10s Pro Filament Guide for Side Spool
thingiverse
My spool is mounted on the right side of my CR-10s Pro front to back along the Y axis. This created a sharpish turn that wasn't as extreme as the stock top-mount, but I still wanted to add a roller. This is a remix of Iron-Hide's excellent "CR 10S Pro 2 Wheel Filament Guide" which itself is a remix of L3D_Help_Guide's "Cr 10 S PRO filament roller guide 608 bearing." You can use the wheels and pins from either of those models. The wheel is tilted 30 degrees which is just right for my machine (tried 45 and it was too steep), and there's a guide rail to keep it from falling out though I haven't seen any problems even with extreme retraction. You might also want to use two thin washers to put between the bearing and mount on either side to help it rotate properly.
