Printed in Gembird green PETG at 235°C/80°C. The lid is a must-have, as it ensures the filament sensor stays firmly in place, preventing any accidental popping out due to overhanging parts or dust accumulation. Quick print jobs like this one (<20 minutes at 50 mm/s) make it an ideal addition to your setup. Printed at 100%, it fits perfectly on my machine, but results may vary depending on individual configurations. This design is specifically tailored for CR-10(S) printers that have relocated their extruder stepper motor away from the left bracket on the X-axis, such as moving it right above the cold end. This allows users to take advantage of the direct drive plate's capabilities. The lid also seamlessly integrates with DoogieLabs' upgraded extruder bracket featuring a filament sensor and guide. I drew inspiration from his design by importing the filament sensor housing and re-drawing most of it, while maintaining its physical dimensions as originally intended by him.
