CR-10S mountable mother board case NOT FOR CR-10.
thingiverse
I was looking to create separate compartments within my control box, and I came across a design by Robertbl22 that caught my eye. While I only used his idea as inspiration, the remix I created is actually based on the CR10 ALL IN ONE's motherboard/electronics plate designed by Jan_P, which can be mounted under the printer via extrusion. Since I have an enclosure and want to mount it underneath like Robert did with his design, I decided to create a custom case lid from scratch. The process was surprisingly easy, and I added slots for zip ties or twist ties for extra convenience. In retrospect, I should have read the comments before printing Robert's design, but it didn't fit my REV 2.1 board, so I decided to remix his idea and create a REV 2.X compatible under-table mounting system. This design can be mounted almost anywhere as long as you have the proper length wires and connections. I'm currently printing out the final products and will upload pictures once they're complete. In the future, I plan on designing a Mosfet case to complement this project, as well as a power outlet and power switch bracket – the one I tried worked, but it required drilling holes and creating a gap between the switch and outlet. I also have a hanging, hinged backless screen and knob mount that's available on my page, featuring a hook and latch system that allows you to pin it back out of the way when not in use. Since my enclosure will be mounted under my table, I'd like to be able to pin up the screen for cleaning and other purposes – including keeping an eye on my furry friends!
