They shine brightly and are 12v, allowing them to be easily connected directly to your printer's power supply if you prefer. You can edit them in Tinkercad with the link above to customize the length as desired. This design worked effectively for me. To assemble, insert the nub into the top rail and press firmly down until the bottom clicks securely into place.
