This is a LED light bar designed to hold a self-adhesive LED strip that securely attaches to the lower level of the print-bed and elevates the LED-bar high enough for clear visibility of the nozzle during the first layers of printing, while also illuminating the object as it grows in height. The wire runs beneath the printbed and then joins with the wires controlling the bed-heating system. I connected it to an external 12V power source, but it's likely possible to wire it directly into the control box for added convenience.
