I was fed up with weak fan mounts that hindered airflow due to air being directed straight at the back plate of the hotend mount. So I designed this robust fan mount that attaches on the side, ensuring no obstructions to airflow. This is particularly crucial when printing at extremely high temperatures where heat creep becomes a significant issue. I also angled the fan upwards so it doesn't suck up hot air from the heated bed. This works seamlessly with the CR10/s heavy-duty V6 mount. I printed this out of ESD-safe PVDF (Kynar) to ensure maximum safety, but PLA will suffice unless printing at high temperatures; in that case, I recommend using ABS for optimal results. This design won't interfere with the end stops, but you may need to use a shorter bolt or modify the file to clear the lower bearing mount bolt. Alternatively, you can drill a hole as shown in the pictures to resolve this issue.
