UPDATE: 7/7/2018 *******************************************\r\n\r\nI abandoned this project completely.\r\n\r\nReason: I discovered an even better solution to the problem at hand.\r\n\r\nAnswer: Simply, I placed my glass on the build plate with care. I carefully taped around its edge with masking tape. Next, I heated it on the build plate until it was warm. Then I poured clear epoxy on top of it. After it hardened, I applied a thin piece of PEI from Gizmo Dorks on top of that. It works flawlessly now.\r\nIf this technique proves effective for you, please let people know where they can find the idea.\r\nHappy Printing!!\r\n\r\n************************************************************************************************************** \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nUPDATE: 3/24/18: I decided to completely overhaul things and I am abandoning this version but will leave it here for a while. The new version is CR-10s Build Plate Center Adjuster TypeS. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2838567 It works much better.\r\n\r\nUPDATE: 3/17/18: I removed v3 parts and uploaded a couple of v4 parts to fit underneath the build plate on the Y-axis. They printed in about 1.5 hours, but I have not installed them yet. \r\n\r\nUPDATE: I'm redesigning this to fit on the y-axis instead of the x.\r\nIt's frustrating to adjust it as is.\r\nI hope to have a new version by 3/17/18.\r\n\r\nA versatile wedge assembly to address my CR10s build plate that is low in the center.\r\nRather than shimming my build plate with tape or other methods which I think cause the heated aluminum bed to warp even more over time, I'm attempting to create an adjustable support for the center area of the bed. \r\n\r\nThis is version 3 which is offset from the center of the bed but has worked well for me so far.\r\nI installed it only moments ago and if it solves my problem I won't update it here unless requested.\r\n\r\nComments are welcome and if you have a CR10, I hope this adds quality to your printer.
