CR-10s Bed Clip - Glass Bed

The CR-10s comes with a glass bed held down by metal paper clips, which don't exactly inspire confidence in their durability. I decided to replace these flimsy clips with sturdier plastic ones that would provide a more secure hold. However, my search for clip designs yielded some disappointing results - many of them didn't fit tightly at all. Determined to find a solution, I designed my own clip from scratch, carefully crafting it to ensure a snug fit. Given the specific dimensions of my bed, with its 7mm height consisting of aluminum and glass, I tailored these clips specifically for that depth. After some initial use, I discovered that even my improved design had its limitations - the clips didn't stay tight as well as I'd hoped. In response, I've now resorted to using a printed screw to keep the clip firmly in place, which has resolved the issue but still leaves me feeling somewhat unsatisfied with this makeshift solution.
