CR-10 Z-Axis Camera Mount for Creative USB webcam
thingiverse
I've tailored a clever clip-on design to meet my specific needs, building upon an existing item that already accommodated LED-strips. However, I didn't require this feature, and my old Creative webcam necessitated a distinct mounting solution. I've only shared the files for the two parts I modified; please refer to the linked remix of the original clip-on design for its well-designed mounting bracket on the z-axis. Note that in the provided image, the original designer's clip-on bracket joins the slide-mount with a hinge. I used a paperclip as the hinge-pin, which functions surprisingly well. The 4.5mm hole in the sliding camera-mount is designed to accept a screw; my intention was to tap it to 5mm and secure the slider in place using a screw, but this step turned out to be unnecessary in practice. When printing these parts, I employed supports on the camera-mount component. Both STLs are already properly oriented for printing. I created both parts using Fusion 360, which I had never used before embarking on this project. If anyone is interested in accessing the Fusion 360 files, please let me know; I'm unsure about how to share them at present, but understand it's possible. I'd be happy to make these files publicly available.
