Update 2019-01-23 : New design : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3377333 Update 2017-11-10: Use a cable chain bracket that is specifically designed for this purpose, as directly pinning cables to the chain with cable ties can make the assembly harder to move and cause the ties to dig into the cable insulation. A suitable bracket will allow for some movement within the chain, ensuring it moves smoothly. The bed cables are oriented in the opposite direction for this mod, where 16-gauge silicone wire has been used instead of cable. This is available at https://www.amazon.ca/BNTECHGO-electrical-resistance-efficient-connection/dp/B017TFR664/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1521732483&sr=8-6&keywords=16+gauge+silicone+wire. Cable segments and ends can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2607130/#comment-1579974. The thermistor cable has been extended, with the y-base1 mount located on the bed plate and held down by a spring. Depending on the knob used, some rubbing may occur while adjusting the bed level. Be extremely cautious not to short wire terminals with metal clips.
