CR-10 Vent Ring

This remix reimagines the Ender 3 Vent Ring by Filboyt, bringing a fresh perspective to the design. Initially, I found the concept intriguing but realized it wouldn't suit my Creality CR-10S due to its relatively low profile. To rectify this issue, I embarked on a complete redesign, incorporating several key modifications: -the ring has been elevated by 1.5mm -six blowers have replaced the original eight -blowers now exit the nozzle in an optimized configuration -air flow is evenly distributed across groups of three blowers Important Notes: -please exercise caution as this design brings the vent ring perilously close to both heatblock and buildplate -it may not be compatible with a silicone sock, a feature I found ineffective in my own experimentation -bed leveling assumes paramount importance with this setup.
