CR-10 V3 Sensor Bracket
thingiverse
The CR-10 V3 sensor bracket is, to say the least, useless because the angle it makes with the spool and the extruder is generating a lot of friction. So, the basic idea was to put the spool above the sensor, but it is way easier to put the sensor under the spool. Also, the benefit of the bracket is to align the filament vertically and horizontally with the extruder to have a path as direct as possible. To do that the spool holder needs to be "reversed", so, everything is now on the extruder side. This bracket is used in combination with the [spool holder mod](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4580253). The friction of the sensor path prevent the spool to roll too much on the bearings and the print results are way better for me avoiding filament starvation. **BOM** To use the bracket you need: - 4x M3 HU nut - 4x M3x30 FHC screw - 2x M4x10 CHC screw - 2x M4 M washer
