CR-10 V3 Filament Sensor Mount
thingiverse
The supplied sensor mount has two issues: - the angle at which the filament enters the sensor is way too sharp and it catches at the rim of the brass tube - if the filament is slightly bend (which it always is) it will catch the brass tubing short after the switch, impossible to insert filament without hassle The whole assembly has way too much friction. Assembly: Cut a piece of filament tubing (about 8-10cm long) and make a round cutout where the switch is. Then screw in the PCB and assemble using the stock screws. Should the tubing be too loose, a small piece of painters tape in both halfs will help. If you don't want the LED to shine through the bottom: print with dark filament and/or paint the inside bottom face black.
