CR-10 v2 Extension Legs - Uses Original Legs!
thingiverse
Here are some CR-10 v2 legs that I designed. They were crafted to be tall enough to place the power controller under the printer at all times. I also designed them to utilize the original CR-10 rubber feet and bolts, thereby reducing vibration and movement of the printer significantly. These legs have proven to be very stable in my extensive usage, so I do not foresee anyone experiencing more than minor issues (if any). I have used these legs since December without encountering any problems. Materials required: 12x M5x12mm bolts (a pack of 50 can be found at www.monsterbolts.com) 12x M5 Hammer nuts (a pack of 50 can be found at www.zyltech.com) 4x M5x12mm grub screws (optional, see below) A model for leg extensions is included in order to use the following fan mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2568828. Some sanding and/or fitting of the taper on the bottom of the original legs may be necessary, depending on the calibration of your printer. You will also need some 10mm or 12mm M5 grub screws to attach the extensions to the legs. The original feet will also screw into the extensions, and extensions can be added indefinitely. DISCLAIMER: You may have to re-arrange wires running along the rear of the printer, and may have to remove material from the front of the left rear leg, in order for this leg to fit properly. I had to do both.
