CR-10 Tool Holder

CR-10 Tool Holder

thingiverse

The idea for this design came from a CR-10 V2/V3 tool holder designed by Waessman. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4190863 I drew up this tool holder in Fusion 360 and am providing the file for those who may want to edit it to their liking. I will say that I'm a hack at 3D CAD and the file provided isn't fully constrained, but it produced the item pictured for my personal use. I moved the stock Creality tools around to match my preference. I added a post on the side to hang my non-Creality bed scraper and added cups on top for my SD card adapter and flashlight. I also extended the skirt on the right hand side to the back of the part for aesthetic reasons. I also resized the text and eliminated the v2 characters, since this tool holder works for both V2 & V3 versions of the CR-10 (maybe others). A small bolt can be used with a T-nut in the top 2020 extrusion to hold it in place. The bolt/T-nut is unnecessary since I drew the part to fit very snugly over the L bracket for the top Z axis brace. I also uploaded the .3mf file since I've read that that file format has the potential for fewer errors. I printed my part using the .3mf file and have not used the .stl at all. All STL files I've produced from Fusion 360 in the past have worked fine for me, so I assume it'll be fine if you prefer to use it.
