This conversion kit turns the classic CR-10 into a standalone unit by reusing most of its hardware. I drew heavily from Rics kit's files and Detox77's display mount to achieve this goal. There are no instructions provided with this kit, so if you're inexperienced in building 3D printers, I strongly advise against attempting this conversion. I will not be held liable for any damage or harm caused by a malfunctioning printer or fire. That being said, here are some key points to consider. If you plan on using this kit within an enclosure, it's recommended that you print with high-temperature materials like PETG or ABS. PLA is also a suitable option if not used in an enclosed environment. To secure the brackets in place, I've included designs for hammer nuts; you can either print them or purchase metal ones from a supplier. The printer legs have two distinct options: one includes a cushion that can be printed using TPU filament to reduce vibrations and enhance print quality, while the other variant is a thinner design to minimize filament usage. I've also included two board mounting options for your convenience - one compatible with the original Melzi and another designed specifically for an Azteeg Smoothieboard.
