CR 10 Stand Alone
thingiverse
I really loved the concept of a standalone CR10. I came across one, but everything was exposed under the bed, and that didn't sit well with me. So, this is a remix that relocates all components into boxes on rails, very similar to the MK3. You will need to print the display case from the original remix. I have added another part to move the spool to the top of the printer. I'll provide more details and files later; it's a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1832235. To complete this project, you'll require the following additional parts: - Flat LCD 10-Pin Ribbon Cable (50cm) https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01BI009A6/ref=ya_st_dp_summary?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - 12 to 16 Gauge wire; I used 12 gauge, which was excessive. I think 14 or 16 gauge might be more suitable. I ordered 20 feet (10 feet each). https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0769FCLB4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 - 5x M4 x 8 Hex Cap Nuts https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01N68EESR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - 5x M4 T-Nut https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01FOC6ADE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - 19x 14 Gauge Connectors and 1 14 Gauge Crimp https://www.amazon.ca/Assorted-Terminal-Insulated-Electrical-Connector/dp/B01MAW05S0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1521086942&sr=8-3&keywords=terminals I will provide all the files so you can remix it as you see fit. Please note that you're doing this at your own risk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zq9z2LV3rbY Display parts sourced from listed remixes.
