CR-10 Spring Caps

CR-10 Spring Caps

I took a trip down memory lane on the Wanhao forums where some users were dealing with shorts caused by metal springs rubbing directly against the hotbed circuitry. I then came across tinymachines shipping their CR-10s equipped with spring caps, which got me thinking. So, I quickly whipped up some caps using Tinkercad. It's probably a good safety precaution to prevent springs from digging in and causing electrical shorts. At the very least, adding fiber washers between the spring and bed or a smooth washer is a good idea, if you don't opt for caps. When it comes to materials, ABS or PETG are suggested since they're in contact with the heated bed.
