CR-10 S5 Mod for stabilization
thingiverse
These are the parts I designed to boost stability on my CR-10 S5. Included are brackets that you can 3D print to use as the joints for attaching the extrusions. For the extrusions, I got them from openbuildspartstore.com. To assemble the double extrusion (2040), cut it to 650mm in length; you will need two of these. I bought 1500mm extrusions and had them cut: http://openbuildspartstore.com/v-slot-20x40-linear-rail/. For the single extrusion (2020), cut it to 600mm in length; you will only need one. http://openbuildspartstore.com/v-slot-20x20-linear-rail/. I used M4 10mm screws with washers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M6ZBZQQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015A39OOO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. And for the nuts, I used M4 T-Nuts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076DWF76L/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
