CR-10/S Mounting Bracket - EZABL+E3D-V6
thingiverse
We recently upgraded one of our CR-10S printers with an 18mm EZABL leveling kit and an E3D-V6 hotend, significantly upgrading its functionality. The upgrades came with STL files for mounting them, but these files were separate and required a shared mounting hole when printed. I decided to remodel the brackets, combining them into one design that holds both the 18mm EZABL sensor and the E3D-V6 hotend. I also wanted to reuse the layer cooling fan that came with the CR-10S, which this merged bracket allows me to do. This combined dual-use bracket has a wire tie-off for both the layer cooling fan and the thermal break fan, eliminating the need to zip-tie them to the base of the bowden tube. I have not printed one yet, but I am providing a version of this merged bracket for others to use. Please note that the design for the E3D-V6 hotend bracket requires heat-set inserts. I provided the hardware list from McMaster-Carr, which is taken directly from the E3D-V6 instructions. You will only need a few inserts and screws from each item, unless you are doing 50 of the exact same upgrades. I would like to thank TH3D and MatterHackers for creating and providing the STL files I used in this mash-up. For anyone who needs to modify these parts, I hope that the STEP files will be useful.
