CR10 Filament box - keep filament dry during printing.\r\n\r\nUPDATE 8 NOV 2018\r\nA dust remover/lubricator can be added to the system. A lint-free towel (microfiber) or sponge can be inserted into the design part.\r\nSome recommend adding a few drops of oil to the filter... I don't know its effect on final print, layer adhesion... etc!\r\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY7ZrVE8eks\r\nThe simplest way to use the filter is to have filament pass through parts and feed into printer. Then open the filter and add cleaning texture - wrapping it around filament.. Close back the system!\r\n\r\n22 OCT\r\nTWO NEW VERSIONS of LID and BOX with different thread. See all parts 7th Series AND 4X4 Series!\r\nNew Versions plug, nut , compression ring 4.8 and 5mm hole!\r\n\r\n21 OCT\r\nI wasn't happy with bowden connection, therefore... I designed a fast coupling for the bowden tube!\r\nConnections not in use need to be plugged in! A set of NUT, COMPRESION RING and PLUG needs to be printed for each connection (5 sets)\r\nA Nut, a Compresion Ring and a Plug get into a Bar...\r\n\r\nLID - print OK!\r\nBOX - print OK!\r\n\r\nCR10, n 0.4, f-asa, n245c, b110c, lh 0.2, if 60%,wt 1mm, tbt 1mm, f 0%, print in enclosed space\r\nBox and Lid fit well, however, all print imperfections need to be cleaned! I use a wire brush, too lazy to use small cleaning tool!\r\nI'm not happy with the bowden connection, I'll design a fast coupling for the bowden tube!\r\nLesson learned - for thread this size - 0.55mm gap between threads... not enough! 0.8 - 1mm probably more recommended!\r\n\r\nDesign uses original CR10 spool holder as support, however can be used on any printer. \r\nCR10 spool holder can be mounted as intended on top of CR10 control box or as you choose : wall, desk, on top or side of your printer...!\r\nFor those who own different printers... I'll design an universal version in near future! \r\n\r\nUPDATE !
