I questioned why the Creality CR-10S model's homing position resides within the printing bed and beyond like the Ender-3 model. As a result, you're likely to collide your nozzle with the bed if it's not set up correctly. This modification swaps out the original Y end switch mount for a simple adjustable one. In the photo, you'll see a rough outline of where it should be installed so that the nozzle is slightly ahead of the printing bed - a safe position since the homing end will lower the print head when the bed reaches its maximum rearward position.
