CR-10 Modular Control Box 120mm Fan Stand
thingiverse
Hello, I had gone through https://www.thingiverse.com/ to find some control box options for my CR-10 v2 and didn’t find much to choose from. I did find a couple that I liked which I will reference below but they were all build as 1 piece. This is great but at the time I had trouble with the edges warping on the outskirts of my printer bed. (I have since discovered glue sticks) I designed a modular control panel station that allows you to use 2 quiet 120mm fans to cool off your device’s innards. I made it modular because I wanted to make a Raspberry pi attachment to the legs in the future or to allow any of several future possibilities. the point is modular means more choices. You will see 4 files that you need. you will have to print a "front fan cover", a "back fan cover", 2ea "fanlegs and grill front" and an air diverter. (**Working with electricity is dangerous and should always be attempted by an expert. I’m not responsible if you break your printer or yourself in the event of an accident. **) The options for wiring the fans are to run the fan cables out through the air duct and plug them in to a separate power supply or to wire them to the controller power supply itself. anyway, hope this finds some use. Have fun. Some links to other versions I liked: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2729888 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2838150
